Every book needs a name! Let’s think of one for YOUR story.
👉 Look at the first page in your writing book.
Can you think of a fun, cool, or exciting title for your book? You can write anything that pops into your head!
🎨 Need help? Try one of these starter ideas:
- The Secret of the ______
- My Adventure With a _____
- The Mystery of the Missing ______
✍️ Write your title in big letters on the title page!

👤 Step 2: Who is in your story?
Let’s meet your characters!
👉 Start by naming 1 character. This can be your main character—the star of your story.
🎭 Some fun name ideas:
- Max the Brave
- Lucy Lightning
- Mr. Wiggles the Cat
- Sky the Dreamer
Once you have one, you can name more characters later—up to 10 if you want!
💬 Step 3: What is your story about?
Now let’s think about what happens in your story. You only need a few sentences to start!
🎯 Try to answer these questions:
- Who is your story about?
- What do they want?
- What big thing happens?
📝 Example:
"My story is about Max, a boy who finds a flying bike. He wants to find out where it came from. On his trip, he gets lost in the sky!"
